Now, do you want feedback/opinion? I just watched it! How many were there? Have you done any (or plan to do any) open mics at the big comedy clubs yet, like Jongleurs or Comedy Store? If you've now done 10 of these gigs then by moving up to some of these larger and more intimidating venues I found they helped hone my own material/timing and more importantly, audience interraction. Interesting to watch, thanks.

Thanks Karl, I genuinely appreciate your feedback. I have done the Cavendish arms in Stockwell a few times, also a few other venues within different parts of London. The problem is money and travelling up and down to London so much. Horsham last night was a much better distance for me.

I have quite a few gigs planned for the next month or two so I hope to progress to doing some of the bigger ones. I'm just trying to find my feet and develop my own style first of all. Also having to overcome the problem of being natural as apposed to acting natural, but hopefuly that comes with time.

There is a great extra on Russell Brand's new(er) Scandalous DVD. Frank Skinner interviews Brand and they discuss the many layers of Stand up comedy. Highly recommend this to anyone with a love for Stand up comedy.

A DVD Extra on one of Jimmy Carr's stand-up is very good as well, a sort of Comedy Idol with Jimmy as a judge etc.

I 'gigged' for about three years in all, on and off, (mostly on my own but occasionally also as an improv duo) finally playing a full solo half hour set at Jongleurs in Camden, which is all I basically wanted to do when I started. Since then I’ve been more content with the writing aspect and awful gag making of everyday conversation, rather than performing, as the more successful my routines became the less comfortable my ego and I was with the attention. It was great fun though. Best advice I ever got was on a comedy workshop – "if you feel comfortable, you need to play to bigger and more confrontational audiences". Or to put it another way, as I often say, you can’t practice sh*tting yourself! :D

"The World’s First Quantum Stand-Up Comedian" – says Anthony Peake. :ugeek:

Have you seen the government’s latest economic figures? It’s great to mathematically see that the country is now officially out of recession isn’t it! In Wigan, sales of pie are reportedly up by around 3.14159 percent.

Intelligent topical comedy – I thank you, I’m here all week, enjoy the chicken. :D

Keep it up!

Doing another set at the Boars Head in Horsham on Sunday 28th.

Tempted to do some material on Multiple worlds and the implications it could have. Might not open with it though...

Just saw the gig on blue ray, and it really was a whole different viewing experience.
Apparently blue ray shows a parallel collapsed reality where the mic by your mouth has a different form and agenda..
