Epilepsy, particularly the variant that has its source in the temporal lobes of the brain, has long been considered the illness of the gifted.
In ancient times it was called the 'diviners disease' as so many of its sufferers showed uncanny abilities of precognition. It is as if these electrical
storms in the brain give access to higher levels of awareness. Interestingly enough one of the pre-seizure warnings (the aura) that a seizure is
about to take place is vivid and profoundly real déjà vu experiences.
If déjà vu is literally what it seems to be - a re-living of an experience that has been experienced before - then it should be possible to access
'future memories' from the recording.
Rather like one can fast-forward a videotape or DVD recording so it should be with the holographic life
history encoded in the brain. Could this be how some epileptics can see the future - because they are remembering a previous life and know
what is to happen next?
In addition to precognitive abilities temporal lobe epileptics experience mysterious transcendental sensations. Consistent descriptions of
time slowing down, of hypersensitivity and of accessing a higher intelligence are to be found in literature. Whatever takes place in the brain
during a seizure it certainly seems to allow access to another realm of consciousness, the realm of the entity known as the Daemon.
